What’s Next: What Happens to Your Estate (Everything You Now Own) After You’re Gone

Topics covered will include
- What are executors and trustees and what do they do?
- Choosing the right person to oversee your estate
- How to eliminate legal hurdles, extra costs, and heartache in the administration of your estate
Naomi Metz is the owner and principal attorney of the Law Office of Naomi E. Metz, a boutique firm providing a full range of estate planning, trust administration, probate, and beneficiary representation services, with a special focus on the unique and still often complex needs of the LGBT community. Naomi is on the Board of Directors of the National LGBTQ Task Force Foundation, and is a founding member and the co-chair of the Sonoma County LGBTQI Giving Circle. She is also an adjunct professor at Empire College of Law, where she has taught classes on LGBT issues in the law. Featured in the July issue of the Gazette “3rd Time’s the Charm”, Naomi has been a tireless advocate for equality throughout her career, and was invited to the White House in recognition for her service to the LGBT community.
